The Oxford Go Club normally meets at Freuds Cafe, Walton Street. When Freuds is closed we sometimes meet elsewhere -- check out if/ where/ when on our Club web page.
In the evening, the cuisine is Turkish, and very different from most Turkish take-aways and restaurants -- in particular, it has a very good selection of vegetarian dishes, in addition to a wider range of meat dishes (not just lamb!). There is a detailed menu below.
It is on Manzil Way (old hospital site) on Cowley Road. It is above the "Caffino" cafe which is on the ground floor. Parking on Manzil Way is free, and plentiful in the evening. Occasionally, in the evenings, there may be a non-Turkish "dish-of-the-day" available.
Daily Information have a detailed review, with photos. It is open from 7 am (morning!) to 11 pm.

Location: Cowley Road, just beyond Tesco's, and Bullingdon Road, on the Right hand side going out of town. If you get to the large green space on the left (Manzil Way -- the old hospital site), you have gone too far! See the bird's eye map.
"Brickworks" is the red brick building at centre of the view. Tescos is the big flat roof at bottom right. The town centre is in the bottom right direction.
There is also a "streetmap" map.
Parking: not brilliant in the immediate vicinity -- but ... OK on Manzil Way -- 50 metres further out (eastwards) on the left hand side.
Meeting time: 7.00 onwards reliably
We meet in the Cellar bar, through main bar, and downstairs!
